Investor in Careers Award
QE is working to achieve the Investor in Careers Award, which is a quality standard for the management of careers education and guidance in schools and FE colleges, and is now used in a number of areas across the country. Assessment is based on standards required by legislation or nationally produced guidelines on good practice. The award is in 3 stages each carrying certification. In a complex and changing world, all young people need access to good quality, comprehensive and impartial Information, Advice and Guidance to help them make the right learning and career choices so that they can succeed in work. Achieving IiC status and the process will be an enormous help in the continuous development of standards of careers guidance within the school. Miss Thorn Careers Coordinator
